Badhate Kadam Foundation Celebrates World Environment Day with a Green Mission

At Badhate Kadam Foundation, we believe in taking meaningful steps — or as our name says, “Badhate Kadam” — toward building a better, greener future. This World Environment Day, our team came together with a strong message:

“Saasen ho rahi hain kam, aao ped lagayein hum.”
(“Breathing air is becoming scarce, let us plant trees together.”)

Why World Environment Day Matters

Every year on June 5th, the world observes World Environment Day to raise awareness about environmental protection. It’s a day to remind ourselves of our responsibility towards the planet. At Badhate Kadam Foundation, we treat this as more than a one-day event — it’s a movement.

This year’s theme was tree plantation, under our ambitious campaign:

Mission Green: 1 Lakh Trees in One Year!
One Year. One Goal. One Lakh Plants.

Our Pledge for the Planet

Our aim is clear:

“Chalo aaj is zameen ko jannat banate hain. Roz na sahi, aaj hi do paudhe lagate hain.”
(“Let’s make this earth a paradise. If not every day, let’s at least plant two saplings today.”)

Trees are the lungs of our planet. By planting trees, we fight pollution, combat climate change, and ensure cleaner air for future generations. This initiative is not just about planting; it’s about nurturing, educating, and inspiring communities to protect the environment.

Community Participation

This year, our event took place at Jainamore (Bandhdih), Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand — our foundation’s home ground. With active participation from local citizens, law enforcement officials, volunteers, and our dedicated team, the event was both impactful and inspiring.

From holding awareness banners to planting saplings, the enthusiasm was heartwarming. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined hands with us in this green mission.

️ The Road Ahead

This is just the beginning. With your support, Badhate Kadam Foundation is determined to reach its target of 1 lakh trees this year. But we cannot do it alone. We invite:

  • Schools & Colleges to host plantation drives

  • Corporate Partners to sponsor green zones

  • Local Residents to adopt and care for saplings

  • Volunteers to become Earth Ambassadors

Together, we can create a greener, healthier India.
